Scope and Outline
Harmonized coexistence of human beings with nature is now recognized as a global issue. To achieve this goal, innovation is needed in various fields of technology. In particular, conservation of energy and resources through improving efficiency and increasing durability of machinery and equipment is of critical importance.
The scope of the Congress focuses on tribology as the key discipline for technological innovation in the twenty-first century. Tribologists and those who have any interest in tribology from all over the world are welcome to Kyoto to exchange research findings and to discuss new developments for tomorrow in all aspects of tribology.
