トライボロジー会議，トライボロジー学会の国際化を促進すべく，英語で講演いただく国際セッションを企画いたします．本国際セッションでは，特定のテーマは定めず一般募集いたします．国際セッションで講演し，英文誌Tribology Online誌へ投稿した論文について，特に査読プロセスを迅速化し，国際セッション特集号としてタイムリーに発行いたします．以下に従って，講演申込，予稿原稿（2ページ）およびTribology
Online誌への論文原稿を提出ください．
The International Session will be held at the 53rd Japanese
Society of Tribologists (JAST) Fall Meeting 2008 to
promote internationalization of the conference and activity of JAST. In this
session, we will welcome contributed papers on any subjects. After presented at
the International Session, papers submitted to the electronic online journal
"Tribology Online
(TROL)" are planned to be published timely in the special issue of TROL through
rapid peer review processes. Authors should submit the application form,
two-page manuscript for the proceedings, and manuscript for the special issue of
TROL, in accordance with the following instruction.

講演資格
会員・非会員を問わず講演できます．なお、講演者は参加登録が必要です．（一般講演と同じ）
Qualification
of speaker: Members or non-members of JAST can present their papers.
Speakers are required for registration.

講演要領
1件につき講演時間20分（発表は12分以内で残りを討論の時間として確保してください）です．プロジェクターを使用する場合は，パソコン等は講演者が用意し，休憩時間に動作確認をしてください(プロジェクターケーブル(D-Sub15pin（ミニ）オス)は学会にて用意いたします)．講演は英語とします．
Presentation
guidelines: 20 minutes per presentation (a 12-minute talk followed by a
8-minute discussion). The presentations should be made using an LCD projector
connected to the speaker’s laptop. Speakers should check the presentation device during a
intermission of the sessions (projector cables (D- sub15 pin (mini)) will be
prepared by the Conference Committee). Presentation should be made in English.

講演申込
インターネットを用いて，本会ホームページ経由で申し込んでください．インターネットによる申し込みが不可能な場合のみ，本会告の申込書をA4に拡大コピーし，FAXにて下記の申込先に送付してください．申込後の取消しや変更はお断わりします．十分ご確認のうえ記入してください．（一般講演と同じ）
Submission of
application form: Submission of the application form should be made via the
JAST homepage by internet. Only when authors can NOT use internet, they may
copy the application form to A4-paper and fax it to the below address for the
Destination of application form. In addition, the authors can not cancel or
change their applications after the submission, please be sure to check the application
carefully.

申込講演の採否
本会にご一任ください．申込件数が著しく多い場合には，なるべく 多数の方に講演していただくため，ひとりの講演を1件に制限させていただくことがあります．（一般講演と同じ）
Review of paper presentation: Decision of
acceptance of the paper presentation is made by JAST. Depending on the number
of submitted papers, the author may be asked to present one paper per speaker.

予稿集原稿の作成
講演申込の採否決定通知文書に添付してある「予稿集原稿の書き方」・「pdfファイルの提出」に従って，英語で作成してください（原稿は2頁です）．原稿はハードコピー2部をpdfファイルとともに提出してください．
Preparing
manuscript for proceedings: Two-page manuscript should be prepared in accordance
with "how to Preparing manuscript for proceedings" and "pdf
file submission", which is attached in the decision letter. The manuscript
should be written in English. Two copies of
print-out manuscripts and a pdf file should be
submitted.

｢21：国際セッション｣として，講演申込書の所定欄に記入してください．国際セッションの申込であっても，プログラム編成の都合上や内容により，国際セッション以外のセッションに組み入れられることもありますが，英語で発表ください．この場合も国際セッションで発表した講演とみなされます．
Subject number: Subject number "21:
International Session" should be selected in the application form. Although
some papers may be assigned to a general session other than the International
Session due to the conference program or subject of the papers, they should be
presented in English. They will be considered
as the papers presented at the International Session.

国際セッションで講演発表した論文については，TROL特集号への本論文の投稿することができます．以下の要領にしたがって論文を投稿してください．なお，上記の要領にしたがって，講演申し込みおよび予稿原稿も提出してください．
Paper submission
to special issue of TROL:If the authors
present the paper at the International Session, they can submit to the special
issue of TROL. The papers should be submitted in accordance with the below
guideline, in addition to the submissions of the application forms and the
manuscript for proceedings as described above.
