1. Welcoming Reception
<Tamokuteki room, 1F>
A welcoming reception will be held from 18:30 to 20:30 in the evening on Wednesday, 26th October 2009 in the Tamokuteki Room, the Hotel Hagikomachi, 1F.

2. Social Tour for aVolcano <Mt. Kasa>

A social tour for a volcano, the Mt. Kasa, will be held from 17:00 to 17:45 on Thursday 27, 2011. Microbuses will leave at 17:00 at the Hotel Hagikomachi for the Mt. Kasa and arrive at about 17:15 at the submit of the mountain, where we will see the smallest crater in the orient.It is not active now.You will see the nice view of the small islends on the sea, which were created in ancient time by the lava vomitted from the volcano.You will be impressed by the beautiful sunsetting on the Japan Sea at 17:26 . After the sunsetting, the buses leave for and arrives at the Hotel Hagikomachi at 17:45.


3. Banquet <Kaiyu-no-ma>
After coming back from the volcano. a banquet will be held from 19:00 – 21:00 on Thursday, 27 October 2011, in the room, "Kaiyuu-no-ma" in the Hotel Hgikomachi.
 

4. Social Tour for Castle Town
A social tour for the castle town will be held from 13:15 to 16:15 on Friday, 28th October 2011. You can deposit your baggages in the Hotel Hagikomachi. Microbuses of the Hotel Hagi-komachi take the participants from the Hotel Hagikomachi to the Hagi Museum, from where we will start walking. The micribuses also take the participants from the goal of he tour near the Ruins of Hagi Castle to the Hotel Hagi-komachi.

We will start walking at 13:30 at the Museum for enjoying the nice streets in the Castle Town. You can enjoy walking for 1 hour and half in the nice calm streets surrounded by the old samurai houses, white walls and greens.Our walking course is shown by a red line in the above map. You can first visit old merchant house, then houses of the famous samurais, who greatly contributed to the Meiji Restoration. This city produces famous traditional ceramics, "the Hagi-yaki". You can also enjoy the ceramic shopping. You can walk at your own discretion if you want.

We will come back at 15:00 to the Museum, the mid-point. Then, we will start walking again for the Ruins of Hagi Castle through the streets surrounded by the white walls. After seeing the castle ruins at about 15:40, we will walk for the goal poit, from where the microbuses will leave at 16:00 for the Hotel Hagikomachi.

The participants stayed in the Hotel hagi-komachi, who would like to leave for ITC-Hiroshima just after the tour, can take the the Hotel- -Hagikomachi-microbuse, which leave the Hotel Hagi-komachi at 16:30 for the Shin-yamaguchi Station. Please be careful about that only the participants, who stayed in the Hotel Hagi-komachi, can take the Hotel-Hagikomachi-microbus, and the bus fare between the Hotel Hagi-komachi and the Shin-yamaguchi Station is invited. At the Shin-yamaguchi Station, you can take the superexpress train in Shinkansen for Hiroshima.

The participants, who stayed in the Hotel Hagikomachi and would like to stay more time in Hagi, can take also the microbus at anytime you want. But in this case the microbus takes you not for the Shin-yamaguchi but only for the Higashi-hagi Staion. The bus fare is free for the participants who stayed in the Hotel Hagi-komachi. From the station you take a JR bus or Bocho-bus for the Shin-yamaguchi Station.
