International Tribology Conference (ITC) Himeji 2027

As promised during the banquet at the ITC Fukuoka, the next ITC will take place in September 2027 in Himeji City. The Japanese Society of Tribologists cordially invites and welcomes you to the International Tribology Conference, Himeji 2027. Himeji City is renowned worldwide for Himeji Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site and Japan's most iconic castle. With its stunning white exterior and intricate architectural details, Himeji Castle stands as a testament to Japan's rich history and craftsmanship. Himeji City is also famous for its sake, crafted from locally grown rice. With a rich tradition of sake production, visitors can sample a variety of high-quality brews from the area's esteemed breweries. With its rich cultural heritage and delicious cuisine, you'll never tire of visiting Himeji. Himeji City is conveniently located approximately one hour by train from Osaka and about two hours by bus or train from Kansai International Airport, the nearest international airport. The organizing committee eagerly anticipates welcoming all of you to participate!

The conclusion of ITC Fukuoka 2023 brought together 975 participants from 30 countries, showcasing 676 papers in various sessions and activities.
